Wide-mouthed, glazed sobochoko cup made by Naoko Taya in Kawagana, Japan. Sobochoko cups have a short, wide shape to hold noodle dipping sauces, spices, wine, (or tea!). Hand-thrown with a glaze that appears black in low light, or a shimmering lapis lazuli in the light.
